Dave was a family man and a dear friend to many.He was very much respected in his career which he loved and as per was bloody brilliant at.
Just looking at his children and their achievements would make him swell with pride and I used to laugh at him trying to stem the tears.He also made us laugh until we cried at times because of his impatience,intolerance of fools along with his razor wit and observations -no-one was safe.
He was a very clever man -nothing at all fazed him -he was quite simply invincible -until 27 August 2007 when his greatest passion -motorbikes -was the very thing which ripped him from us.It was an accident but true to form it wasnt Daves fault -he was quite simply the best,most respected biker there was and I would have trusted him with my life unfortunately someone else, as happens didnt value his.
I now go to phone him because of a problem and then have to remind myself that the problem in the main is due to the fact he isnt here.
He would be so proud of our 2 children and the strength, in the face of such adversity they have shown.He lives on in them and for that I shall be eternally greatful.Im so glad through thick and thin, good and bad he was part of our lives -forever indebted for that.
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
Wee Pood is doing brilliantly -you'll see for yourself.She has made it all happen -you know when she sets her mind to something !! Will stand her in good stead-we always said it...great job...new city ..new flat...new life..she couldnt be happier and neither would you have been (plus if you did just happen to be on my shoulder the last 6weeks -what a result -im not ready just yet its seems x).

Our wee boy is 25 today!!!
Well -its a roller coaster -thats Russ 25 today.He looks after us all and is my rock.We have such special times together -we laugh and I cry (sorry) when we are chatting about you.You are never far from our thoughts everyday and in particular special days, like today.
Remembering that special day 25yrs ago today which we shared -happy memories -thank you for our son x
Our baby girl is 21 !!
Thank you for our children and im doing my very best to make sure that you would be proud of them.So far so good !!
Was up to see you a couple of times last weekend -Jess got her 21st pressie from Abernyte so it makes it extra special.You would be so proud of them - they miss you always but have the tenacity to move on at the same time -think they got a double dunter getting both our genes but hey it hasnt harmed them !!!!!

right now maureen is down in england in a leaking caravan which you would maybe have had a chuckle at the thought of her raging at the weather lol.
